HD LiveCut

A browser-based system for recording and fast editing of LIVE signals. SDI/stream inputs from multiple channels are recorded continuously. While recording is still running, operators review, mark in/out points and export each segment as an MP4 file ready for distribution.

Session recording, multiple channels

Each channel records several resolutions at once, optionally with a logo. When recording is interrupted, it resumes automatically within the same session.

Edit while recording

Review on a wall-clock timeline, seek and set frame-accurate Mark In/Out points without waiting for the recording to finish.

Fast shot export

Shots are exported one by one through a queue. Only the head and tail of each segment are re-encoded, so files are ready quickly. Track progress and download from the web.

How it works
  1. Set up encode profiles and channels (input signal, recording outputs) under the Recording menu.
  2. Open Live cut, pick a channel and press Record to start a session.
  3. While recording, seek on the timeline and mark the in point (I key) and out point (O key) of each segment.
  4. Press Export shot, choose the source profile, then download the MP4 when the export is done.
